Guacamole is delicious. It simply is.

Does anyone not like guacamole? If you don’t, then I recommend moving onto a different recipe that does not involve guacamole, maybe my pear and gorgonzola pizza? That’s probably a safe bet.

Guacamole is a perfect side dish to some delicious tacos or a great snack or lunch as guacamole avocado toast.

The great thing about homemade guacamole? It is KETO!

Homemade guacamole is the perfect snack with crispy bacon or even celery (yes, I prefer the bacon too..).

On top of everything else? Homemade guacamole is super easy to make! You can change up the ingredients to make a batch for everyone in the family or just one person.

Homemade Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 6 Large Avocados
  • 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt I estimate and test intermittently to see if I need more salt. Based on personal preference
  • 1 Large Jalapeno (seeded for no spice, with seeds for extra kick)
  • 2 Large Tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • 2 Limes, juiced
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Red Onions
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Cilantro (chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mash the six large avocados. Then add all remaining ingredients. You may prefer more or less salt. I recommend adding some, then tasting to see if you need more or if you are happy with the saltiness.

Homemade Guacamole is guaranteed to be a family favorite and is a great healthy recipe too! Of course, this recipe is just as good with tortilla chips as it is with bacon or vegetables. This makes it perfect for families with several different diet needs.
