True problems of women with big breasts and how to fix them! The best products for big breasts and my thoughts on how to love your big breasts! #bigbreastproblems #bigbreastproducts #bestproductsforbigbreasts

I want to start off by telling you, I am a 34F and have been since high school. I understand what it means to have a big bust, I understand the struggles that come with them, and I understand the importance of loving them. But trust me, I didn’t always.

You see, today I was talking to a friend and she was telling me how her teenage daughter had a big bust and how she tended to hide them by wearing baggy clothing and how she had a set of struggles that her mom didn’t understand. Bras? Yeah, they never seemed to fit know matter how many fittings. Swimsuits? The struggle is 10x more difficult. Sports bras? Yeah, I’m still bitter about those fuckers (please excuse the language, but the hatred is real).

As I write this post, I am a senior in college and have finally learned how to love the big bust I have been blessed with but I understand some people are just starting that journey, or have been struggling on that path for years.

I get it.

This is why I have decided to go outside my comfort zone and tell you about all the incredible tricks that I have found that work to build confidence and eventually to learn to love the big breasts you were given, all while telling you my story.

My story:

I was in 7th grade when I started to develop my breasts. At first, it seems like you may just be developing earlier than everyone else, cool. Except, in the years to follow, everyone else stopped developing and you were still growing. And I have to tell you, at that age, you notice.

You notice that you are different.

You notice that you don’t have the same struggles as everyone else.

You notice that clothes don’t fit you the same way as everyone else.

You notice everything.

There are some girls out there that took the difference and thrived. And I applaud these girls. But I think most girls, see the difference and try to hide. Just like I did.

My posture went from being good, to being poor, slouching over to try and hide my boobs. Clothes that didn’t accentuate my boobs, changing for volleyball practice in the bathroom stall so others wouldn’t notice, I did it all.

I hated my boobs. If they were just a cup or two size smaller, I would be happy.

It wasn’t until college were something in my head clicked. I was too young to hate something about my body, if I chose to hate it- I would have decades of hate in front of me, and that sucked. But what the hell could I do to change the way I saw my boobs? The only thing I could do- make my boobs comfortable.

You may be thinking- what the hell is she talking about?

But I can assure you- if you are a big chested girl- you know exactly what I am talking about. Boobs constantly falling out of your bra, sports bras that don’t fit making you need to wear two bras, and don’t forget the shoulder and lower back pain just to name a few.

Yeah, you see these boobs are awesome, but boy are they high maintenance. Seriously.

Have I got you wondering how exactly I achieved this? Or maybe what the hell I mean by sports bras and boobs falling out of bras? Well keep reading, these struggles are very real and can be a huge part of why many girls dislike their big boobs.

Bras: Are they really necessary?

If you are saying this- you don’t have big boobs or you are a big chested woman with a hell of a lot of confidence.

You see- not wearing a bra? Not an option. The only question that someone who is big chested has is, what kind’ve bra will be the least annoying?

I used Victoria Secrets bras for as long as I could remember, they were the ones who originally sized me in high school. 34DD, that’s what they said. And then when I complained that my boobs constantly fell out of the cups (literally, they stayed in the cups for all of 2 minutes- if I was standing perfectly still.

Then they came back and said I was a 34DDD. So I got all new bras only to continue having the problem. And as we all know- bras are not inexpensive so needless to say, I was beyond pissed.

At this point I decided that I was just going to take my money elsewhere and decided to try ThirdLove.

And I cannot emphasize this enough- ThirdLove is an absolute game-changer.

I took the size test and they came back with 34F. You can guess my next thought- great, another size up. My boobs just keep getting bigger. Fabulous (please take note of the sarcasm in that entire statement…).

So this time, I just tried one bra and I was completely sold. I wasn’t fiddling with my bra every two minutes, my bra straps weren’t constantly falling down, and the bra was no longer digging into my ribs.

It was like I had just won the lottery. If you don’t believe how much a properly fitting bra is a confidence booster, then I’m not sure how to help you. And if you are skeptical, I can appreciate hearing, “You were right.” 😉

Sports Brasssss

Yup, as in multiple at one time… this is the norm for girls like me. There is not a single bra out there (and trust me I have looked and will continue to look) that provides maximum coverage for someone with big boobs.

And before you say something about your friend who has implant DD’s and never complains, I’m not bashing on your friend, but please know, there is a huge difference in the amount real boobs bounce to those that are silicone.

I am extremely active, I ride horses, workout daily and my future job may require running and pounding on someones chest (for those of you who don’t know, I am graduating nursing school), these are all activities that can seriously cause bouncing boobs if you don’t take precautions.

Often times, a sports bra over a regular bra is the way that people find works best. And my response- Are you fucking kidding me? We can’t find a sports bra that actually works? God forbid any of us have to run when we weren’t expecting it and we’re only wearing a regular bra.. *shudder*.

If you think I am joking, I’m not. I am being deadly serious.

And unfortunately, I have yet to find a sports bra that gives me exactly what I am looking for, however I can tell you that the closest thing I have found is Fabletics High Impact Sports Bra. Outside of that- I have no recommendations for you. Yet.

Swimsuits-The most dreadful experience just got 10X worse

Swimsuit shopping is dreaded by just about every female on the face of the Earth. That process is about ten times worse for someone with big boobs.

You don’t believe me?

A swimsuit top is essentially a bra/boob support for swimming. We struggle to find a bra that works for the sole purpose of supporting our boobs- you think finding a bra that has a purpose “loosely” correlated with supporting our boobs, will be easy?

Do you believe in unicorns? Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Now, I don’t have any one brand that works more than others for this horrid experience, but I will tell you- finding a swimsuit top that has a thick band portion to go under your boobs and tie in the back, works wonders.

Also always remember, more fabric = happier boobs.

I can tell you one thing is for certain- a itsy bitsy yellow string bikini is probably not in the cards for you. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news..

Love them like they are yours- because they are.

Getting comfortable in your own skin is by far one of the most important things for you to do in order to start the journey of loving your breasts, no matter the size. However the truth is, the only thing that will truly change the way you see yourself is to learn to look at what you have differently.

I’m no motivational speaker, but I can tell you that in order to change how you see your boobs, start looking at them less like a burden and more as a gift.

Yeah, they can cause back soreness and shoulder pain for a while, but then you build muscle. Muscle that others have to workout at the gym for.

All that money you are spending on bras and sports bras that don’t work? They are still less expensive then paying a surgeon to give you the size DDs you inherited naturally (that other people pay big bucks for..).

There is always a flip side, look for it, apply it, and you may just start seeing yourself a little differently and learn to love your boobs a little bit more.

There is nothing that you can buy to make you love your boobs. That is all you and the process may be hard, but I can assure you- being uncomfortable for the rest of your life is also hard. You simply need to choose what it is you want.

I would love to hear what you all think and how you feel about your boobs- no matter what size! What are some things you struggle with or have found to work for you? I want to hear it all.

I hope this post helped you all, or at least provided you with a chuckle. Email me with any questions at brooke@babblingwithbrooke.com!
