Is it just me or does everyone crave fries? Maybe even sweet potato fries? Just me?
I always thought that fries were super difficult to make and not so healthy (I mean, salt and carbs… not the most nutritious).
However, a sweet potato contains slightly more nutrition than a regular potato and can be made to taste just as good (good enough to make up for the high carbs..)..
I promise…
That is where these sweet potato wedges with avocado dipping sauce come in.
This delicious snack is perfect for a pregame snack, afternoon munch or even as a side dish to your favorite burger. Plus, you can kind’ve convince yourself that these sweet potato wedges with avocado dipping sauce are healthy.. 😉
These wedges can be made into fries, however at the time that I was making them, I did not have the patience to cut them into small fries (or cut my finger using my frier tool).
It is totally up to you if you decide to make these sweet potato wedges into sweet potato fries, you may simply need to adjust the cooking time.
