Can I just say, it is a miracle that these burgers turned out the way they did. And no, not because I thought they would be terrible but because my fire alarms went off twice in the time it took to cook these suckers.
Three times within two hours if you include the peanut butter chocolate cakes I tried to make afterwards..
So when I say I wasn’t sure the burgers would turn out the way they did, I mean I am literally surprised that I was able to cook them at all.
Needless to say, the oven is getting checked and I can only make meals that do not require baking…
However, these pepper jack jalapeño stuffed burgers were worth the hassle. And for all of my readers that hate spicy (like me) you can make this burger mild by taking out the jalapeño seeds or keep them if you love the extra kick.
Did I mention that these burgers are also low carb? Yup, delicious and healthy!
Not only are they healthy but you can also make these burgers ahead of time and freeze them. Simply make sure that you let them thaw completely before you cook them.

Pepper Jack Jalapeno Stuffed Burgers | Easy Keto Dinner Recipes
These burgers are delicious and can be made ahead of time and frozen! Perfect for the family on the go or for the person looking to take a classic and add a twist.
Ingredients
- 2 Ounces Cream Cheese softened
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 Large Jalapeño (seeded and minced)
- 2 Pounds Ground Beef
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Black Pepper
- 1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 Teaspoon Roasted Garlic
Instructions
-
In a medium bowl combine the cream cheese, pepper jack cheese and Jalapeño. Use a fork to mash everything together well.
-
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic, salt, pepper, ground cumin and roasted garlic. Use our hands to mix the ingredients together well.
-
Divide the beef mixtures up into six sections. Take on section and take two-thirds of the mixture and shape into a disk. Take a spoon or a small measuring cup and push in the middle of the disk to create a hole in the disk. Fill the hole with a sixth of the cream cheese mixture and cover the mixture with the remaining one third of ground beef mixture. Try to seal up the cheese mixture as much as possible. Repeat this process with the rest of the burgers.
*I use the pampered chef burger and slider press to get the perfect burger shapes. This is a life saver!*
-
Pre heat the grill or broiler in your oven. If you choose to broil, broil approximately 10 minutes on each side. If you choose to grill, grill the burgers for 6-7 minute for well doneness. Please check your meat before consuming and cook the burgers to your preferred likeness.
Recipe Notes
*This burger can be prepared and frozen for future meals. Simply freeze and let thaw when you are ready to cook.
