There are many things that I do in my morning routine to get my day started off right. One of those things includes drinking a protein shake based on the Fab Four Formula.

If you aren’t sure what the Fab Four Formula is, head over to my post The Fab Four Lifestyle. Just to summarize it for you, it is based on the four food types that you need to have in each meal in order to maintain your blood sugar and rebalanced your body’s physiology.

With that being said, I took the keys from this formula and I made up a shake that is absolutely delicious!

This Apple Peanut Butter Protein Shake is a easy, delicious and so filling!

Because this Apple Peanut Butter Protein Shake is formulated to crave hunger and level out your blood sugar, it fills you up for hours!

I always garnish this shake with cinnamon or nutmeg to give this protein shake a taste of apple pie. How could you go wrong with apple pie in the morning? You can’t.

I prefer to use Juice Plus Complete Vanilla Protein powder in this protein shake. Juice Plus Vanilla Protein powder is gluten free, all natural, vegan, provides you with 13 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber. This is a whole food based protein shake mix that works perfectly with this shake! The shakes come in chocolate or vanilla.

Ingredients

  • 1 Serving Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 Medium Apple, cored and chopped
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 Handful Spinach (optional)
  • 2-3 Cups Unsweetened Nut Milk
  • Cinnamon or Nutmeg for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place all of you ingredients into a large blender (except the cinnamon and nutmeg). If you like your shake more like a smoothie, then add ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Garnish with cinnamon or nutmeg.
